Down-to-earth food and drink. At the moment all tables are outside and self-service makes a visit a Corona-compatible affair.

Palatinate meets France, not so difficult in this corner! The staff worries, especially with the spacious garden, are met by this restaurant with smart, 'electronically' controlled self-service. Whereby garden means sitting at the edge of rows of vines under beautiful trees, a bit away from the road, beautiful. When it is full there are nice places right in front of the restaurant and nice indoor places (I only sat there once, as I am / have always been here in times of outside friendliness. The menu is small and fine, Palatinate Saumagen next to French classics, everything from Outstanding quality. Hundemer's wines go well with the enjoyment group. Reservations are not possible, I don't know why. But please - I don't eat the reservation, but the fine dishes from PGF. And they are always worth it!

Good simple dishes. Delicious wines. “Outside” was nice ? unfortunately not as many seats as it sometimes needs.

Overstrained restaurateur. We weren't allowed to book today and were kicked out an hour later due to overcrowding.

Always a must go there

Although it is on the street, it is away from the hustle and bustle and therefore not so overcrowded. Great little dishes for those who are hungry. Tables outside, under large trees. Fraire prices. Self service.

Great wine selection from the Palatinate and small French specialties with expert advice from the "boss". Homemade ice cream. Great seating under trees and right next to outdoor vineyards. Nice little interior room.

Again and again, nice to linger and enjoy

When we were there, all the tables and seats were occupied. We then waited for a free table along with other potential guests. According to the website, no reservations are possible. However, tables were reserved on site. That looks very unprofessional. No EC cards let alone credit card payment possible. This is also very unprofessional for modern gastronomy. Modern menu, nice location but nothing else. We left after some waiting. It works well.

Typical Pfölzer restaurant. Great food and good wines. You have to visit.

I'm not a foodie, yet I appreciate simple dishes of high quality. Whoever likes this, will certainly feel at home with Mr. Theobald, a very pleasant host. Definitely worth a visit.
